This blog post will tell you all about the Roseto Chandelier – what it looks like, where it can be used and why this product is so popular.
Rosette Design
As the name suggests, Roseto here refers to the exquisite Italian town of Roseto Valfortore, which is located in the province of Foggia. The chandelier {Kronleuchter} comprises an intricate design with hand-blown glass and a sophisticated style that will totally compliment your home décor.
The artisan who’s behind this lovely piece is Gaspare Menna, whose passion for glass-blowing started at a very young age. He has experience spanning over three decades, and his workmanship shows it all!
His technique involves blowing molten glass into wooden molds that are carved by hand; hence no two pieces will ever be alike. This could explain why every Roseto Chandelier is unique in its own way, like one would expect from items created with such great care and attention to detail.
As mentioned earlier, each unit comprises twelve candleholders (that also go by the name ‘focos’ or candlesticks) placed on top of an intricate scalloped design. This design is said to be inspired by nature, with the rosettes being beautifully crafted, which adds to the allure of this sophisticated chandelier.
Each unit measures 49 centimeters in height and 39 centimeters in width; the distance from one side to another is 35 cm. The base has a diameter of 17cm, while its broadest point measure 19cm.
